After reading our posting about her missing her coronation & photo shoot - Jan writes "I just didn't realize I was supposed to be "crowned" that night. I had received a gorgeous bouquet of roses at half time of the football game...it blew me away!! I can't imagine surviving a "crowning"..I've been 'beaned' before, do you think it's anything like that?" (Jan innocently went home early - missing her photo shoot) ~ ~Even without the photos, Jan, our mental images of you have forever captured your majesty.

After six years in the USAF, I went back to school and graduated from USC in June, '61.Probably one of the best moves I ever made. If I had stayed in, I might have ended up with McCain in the Hanoi Hilton....and my daddy wasn't a General. I'll see what I can come up with on Elmore. If I can't document my information, I will tell it from memory. (I'd better hurry on that score) I wouldn't bet on my spelling - Elmore is correct, Morey?? PS The page still looks great. congrats to Chet. We don't have any great grandchildren yet.
